Ideal trip with friends in Nha Trang Vietnam
Nha Trang is a special city which is mixed of dynamism and bustle from Ho Chi Minh City and marine placidity from Da Nang. Nha Trang owns one of the the best long beaches of Vietnam and the city develops more and more to becomes top cities for tourism. Here are some things you must do when travel to Nha Trang Vietnam:
- Scuba diving
Scuba diving in Nha Trang is the best experience I have ever done. To do scuba diving, we need to drive boat to get to dives like: Madonna Rock, Moray Beach, Electric Nose…Usually, people book tour by agent to get the full package including boat, dive wear, food, trainer,…There are so many agents in downtown of Nha Trang provide scuba diving tour, the good price for tour/person is around $30-$50 per tour.
First, if this is your first time, you have nothing to worry about; they give you a very good instruction in the beginning. Suit up, then relax yourself under the blue water, go deep down when you are ready, and the whole ocean bottom world is waiting for you to admire. With a maximum depth of about 18 metres/60 feet, dive sites surrounding Nha Trang are ideal spots for new divers or those in training. Don’t forget to bring your waterproof camera to capture these wonderful moments.
- Vinpearl land amusement park
This is absolutely a fantastic place to spend a day with your family or friends. There are many ways to get the ticket for Vinpearl land Nha Trang, as I see a lot of my friends said they were cheated by taxi driver, you can buy at the gate entering or buy at agents, price is around $30 (all games, except food and drink) and will be discounted if buy more than 10. To go to the island you can choose boat or cables but my recommendation is driving cable as this is a very cool experience. The cable car ride was worth it in itself with spectacular view.
Vinpearl has the amusement park and water park in one which is tourists love so much because of the hot and humid weather of Nha Trang. It’s compared as Disneyland of Vietnam with diversity kind of games; some are thrilling games which is considered dangerous for seniors or people with cardiovascular problems. The water park was an outstanding spot, lots of different slides and there were no crowds at all. Not only kids but also adults love the view of Vinpearl or 3D room for taking significant memorable pictures.
- Mud bath in Nha Trang is very famous for its value
Mud bath is kind of relaxing performance after long day tired. The design of the place is typical spa with nature being centered. The ticket is quite cheap (around $25 for everything). The place is cleaner than most other Vietnamese public baths and there are plenty of staff on hand to help. After getting mud bath, you can feel for real that your skin goes softer. Mineral in mud is extremely healthy for you. It is fun to have bath in a big tub with your family or friends. Recommended mud bath places are Thap Ba hot springs, 100 eggs mud bath, Galina hotel.
4. Po Nagar Cham Towers
If you want to see a different culture in Nha Trang, then it must be Po Nagar Towers of Cham people. Built between the 7th and 12th centuries, these four Cham Towers are still actively used for worship by Cham, Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists. The towers stand on a granite, on the banks of the Cai River. This point has a continuing religious significance, so be sure to remove your shoes before entering and women have to be covered to go into the temple but there are free cover ups available there.
5. Hanging out downtown and trying some foods
Yes, Nha Trang City itself is a tourist attraction. You can walk around Tran Phu Street to see both the city and the sea in the other side. The combination of coffee and sea view is a specialty of Nha Trang that you cannot skip.
Recommended food you must try in Nha Trang is grilled fermented pork roll- “Nem Nuong” at Nem Nuong Vu Thanh An, 15 Le Loi, the restaurant is crowded with customers from late afternoon till midnight. For noodle lover, you can try rice vermicelli with grilled fish and jellyfish – “bun cha ca” or “bun sua”.
Another one is similar to cupcake but it is not: “Banh can” at crossroad of Le Thanh Ton and Nguyen Thien Thuat Street. At night, there are night markets sell Vietnamese products and clothes. Clubs and bars are also a pleasure part of Nha Trang. Some famous bars are sailing club bar, nigh club and skylight Nha Trang.
